Big Ralph and Clementine

There are currently two ukuleles I play on: my red Soprano I call Clementine and my husband's Concert uke he calls Big Ralph. Some days I will pick up and play one or the either at random or I'll select a uke based on its sound in relation to the song I'm recording.

We bought both in Orlando, FL in 2008 at Sam Ash. They are entry level but both play well. Outside of tone, there are a few subtle differences in each. For finger plucking or playing arpeggios, I prefer Big Ralph as he is bigger and in turn, I can handle him a bit easier when holding him. Clementine's petite sizing lends itself to playing upbeat songs or tunes that require intricate chord changes.

In the future, I am interested in procuring a banjolele. I feel this will open up both the variety and sound of my music.
